Another famous hill been hiked in this early morning for our weekend activity. The haze occurred in Kota Kinabalu area this few weeks cause of long period of hot weather. Kopungit hill is located at between two roundabout after a tunnel. It is just after Golden Hill Garden and opposite of Shan Tao Secondary School, Kepayan. Park your car just at left of the highway road side. The hill is surrounded by the big rocks which a little bit difficult to climb up to top. There have no proper trail but have a lot of starting to the top. By that, you just need 15-20 minutes for the trail. You could enjoy airport, Tanjung Aru flyover and Kepayan area view when you were at the top. Besides that, there had nature rocks standing as mark of Kopungit Hill. Cliff rocks also made for rock climbing. At there, we found a cave that left when Japan War. The cave can be through to other side which come out at tunnel. Glad that we found other thing different than other hills.
